Meeting the potential employee in person offers the chance to get to know the real person behind the “CV hype.” As you’re conducting the interview, this is your chance to ask questions that you would like to know that maybe hadn’t been covered in their CV. The main thing to remember is that this person is applying to become part of your business and it is up to you to check out the information they have told you. Many people ask for references from previous employers, this is a great way to see how the person performs when they are in their role and how they may be an asset to your company.
